The design of Jane Restaurant, in Antwerp in Belgium, is the work of the German studio Piet Boon. The structure, which before the restructuring was used as a military hospital chapel, now houses a fascinating environment in which fine cuisine and aesthetics rock 'n roll meet.

The choice of the study Piet Boon was to keep intact as much as possible of the former chapel, in line with its philosophy based on authenticity, functionality and respect for vintage materials. The original altar has been used as a work plan for the team of chefs and embraced only by transparent glass, as a modern showcase, allows to the restaurant's guests to see everything that happens in the "kitchen”.

The passion shared by chef Sergio Herman and designers of Piet Boon for materials and purity is expressed in the use of stone, wood and leather of exceptional quality. The success of the special atmosphere is, then, due to a series of collaborations with many professionals such as designers Studio Job and study .PSLAB.
