The creative director of Yves Saint Laurent Hedi Slimane designs and develops a new concept store in Shanghai for the French fashion house. The environment reflects the new brand's creative vision desired by Slimane and it is realized in the new store with the juxtaposition of glass, mirrors, gold, silver and luxurious marble whites and blacks.
Stylistic references to the French Art Deco and movement del'Union des Artistes Modernes invade the spaces inside the boutique located in Reel Department Store in Nanjing Road West, furnishings and layout were inspired by the 30's. After hosting a collection of Pilati's predecessor, Slimani, from January 2013, the new location will propose the first ready to wear collection designed by Creative Director to bring Saint Laurent Paris in a new direction at the top of the trends in Asia.
