Das Stue Hotel Berlin is located in the heart of the German capital in the building that in 1938 the architect Johann Emil Schmidt projected to accommodate the Royal Danish Embassy. The review of the environment and the interior design is the work of Spanish Patricia Urquiola. The goal is to offer an intimate atmosphere using a combination of architecture, heritage and contemporary design.

The entrance is flanked by two wide staircases whose escape routes dragged the eye to the bottom of the lobby where the bar in modern style, offers a huge window with views of the zoo in the city. All environments see the presence of animal sculptures that seem to escaped from the nearby park to counteract the austerity of the original building.

Ptricia Urquela in the creation of the interior design combines parquet flooring and natural materials such as wood and copper with the intent to donate warm feeling to the guests. Colorful rugs and a large number of sofas and cushions help to convey the idea of an environment that invites you to relax and feel at ease.
