Volta returns in New York from March 6 to 9, 2014. Volta is a fair of projects and emerging artists in contemporary art, founded in 2005 in Basel and in 2008 transformed by the artistic director Amanda Coulson in a boutique event that represents a showcase for artists regardless of their origins.
Volta, currently located at 82 Mercer Street, deals to showcase prestigious artists emerging worldwide. Encouraged by the response of collectors and curators over the past few years, the exhibition will place emphasis on the performance of the individual artist or on the stand concept to present the work of two artists in dialogue with each other, to enable a better understanding of the various individual practices.
