The Foundation Begét Pierre-Yves Saint Laurent in Paris celebrates the art of Hedi Slimane with the exhibition "Sonic". This time, the artistic force of the designer is expressed in photography and not in fashion. Portraits in black and white, displayed for the first time, are stolen from fifteen years of music archives.
Portraits of rock stars such as Lou Reed, Amy Winehouse, Keith Richards and Brian Wilson reveals the ability of Slimane of showing the bare side of the music industry and original. The design of the exhibition will be completed by a video installation that compares and contrasts the London rock stream of the years ranging from 2003 to 2007 and the current musical movement in California.
