It was opened a few days "Aisthesis - the origin of sensations" exhibition that showcases the dialogue between Robert Irwin e James Turrell at Villa Panza. Until November 2, 2014 will remain on display 19 works - permanent installations, site-specific works and projections, ranging from mid-60s to the present day and reveal, now as then, the power of invisibility, the poetry of light, the intensity.
Above and below: James Turrell.

Turrell and Irwin always tell by their works mutability, the elusiveness of light, but also the awareness of the succession of the seasons, the changing of the color of nature. A tale that take place thanks to the foresight and generosity of Giovanni Panza, who was able to catch more than others, decades ago, the potential of the works of these two artists. In love with minimalism at first and then concentrate his interest, especially in the late 60s and the decade of the 70s, the minimal art.

Rounding also shows the location of the two new projects made especially for this occasion and for the environments of the Villa. A new Ganzfeld, designed by James Turrell, transforms the Great Stables in a landscape without horizons, while a pure space shaped by natural light, is the project of Robert Irwin designed for limonaia of the Villa.
