The Point Yamu Hotel in Phuket is a project developed by Italian architect Paola Navone, commissioned by the Como Hotel and Resort. The property is situated in Cape Yamu, a peninsula on the east side of Phuket.

The architect Navone was driven into the creation of the hotel by the respect and cultural valorization of the natural environment typical Thai. This approach has led to the creation of environments made with local materials that show pallette of colors ranging from bright acquamarine to warm orange.

Navone's passion for textures takes form of elements made of stones, ceramic blocks and special metal weaves. Huge windows placed in each room offer breathtaking ocean views and wide open spaces of the corridors, lounges offer suggestions arising from the meeting between the Thai and Italian design.
