The Viceroy is one of the projects of the American interior design guru Kelly Wearstler. The boutique-hotel, one of the most trendy in Santa Monica, is the result of a perfect mix of glitz, glamor and sophistication. The interior designer admits that the inspiration for the creation of the special atmosphere of the Viceroy comes from a holiday spent among the huts and shacks of Myrtle Beach in South Carolina.
The environment, which results from the mixture between whites and blacks furniture and flashes of colors such as canary yellow, navy blue and green, seems to be taken directly from a movie. It is the feeling that the designer wants to convey to customers staying between palm trees, swimming pools, gardens and restaurant.
