Domesticity as new luxury: this is the philosophy that Ett Hem Hotel
aims to embrace, from the name, which in Swedish means house. Guests
stop to be bordered in their rooms and can enjoy spacious common areas:
at their disposal sofas, places and comfort designed in Swedish heritage
style to convey a sense of warmth that only your own home can give. Ett
Hem is located in a quiet district of Stockholm, in the area of
Osterman, between embassies and particular residences.
The architect Anders Landström cures the meticulous renovation of the "palace" that dates back to 1910 and Ilse Crawford, with his Studioilse, studies and designs the concept of the interior. "We wanted to continue the story of this house by giving it a meaning for the future," says the designer Ilse Crawford. And so pieces of design heritage of all manner are flanked to heritage Swedish tradition.
