The relationship between nature, technology and mankind is what inspires the vision of Studio Drift.
Studio Drift was founded in 2006 by Ralph Nauta and Lonneke Gordijn, both graduated at the Design Academy of Eindhoven (NL). The realization of their projects always involves scientists, university departments and engineers to create innovative works that explain the existing balance between opposites such as nature and technology and knowledge and intuition.
Light is a central element of the works of Studio Drift, it is never interpreted as a functional tool but as an artistic ingredient aimed to innovate and create drawing a indistinct line between art and design. The result of their studies aims to perfectly combine technological advancement, aesthetic pleasure and utility future.
