“Observatory / Playground”: The roof of the Marseille Modulor (MAMO) hosts a new exhibition curated by the French designer Ora Itö.
After DÈFINI, FINI, INFINI by the artist Daniel Buren for the first time the French curator and designer Ora Itö brings the artworks of the new Yorker artist Dan Graham in Marseille and on terrace designed by Le Corbusier's.
The installations, two pavilions and seven maquette, are halfway between sculpture and architecture and are mainly made of glass which, through a dialogue with the Cité Radieuse's surrounding concrete, investigate the subtle balance between observer and observed, public and private, inside and outside. Minimalism and conceptualism allow visitors a moment of playful reflection.
