Objective of the American artist Phillip K Smith III is the creation of structures which with shapes, colors, optical illusions and lights create transformations of matter and interactions bringing the viewer to contemplation. The last structure, and also the largest to date, was created by the artist on the occasion of the Coachella Festival 2014.

The huge work, located in Indio, California, takes the title of "Reflection Field" and is composed of five large independent structures covered with mirror surfaces than during the day reflect the surrounding landscape. During the night, instead, hidden neon illuminate the large cubes creating color points in space.
