Ark Nova is the latest project by Anish Kapoor. An inflatable theater, traveling and the least unusual color: purple. The Ark Nova, designed together with architect Arata Isozaki is a true work of art that takes its name from the biblical Noah's Ark, the willingness of its creators is, in fact, to bring the structure around the world offering a "rescue" from everyday life through music, theater and art.
The debut of Ark Nova has happened in Japan to Matsushima with the staging of the Lucerne Festival in memory of the tsunami two years ago, but the theater can be deflated and re-inflated to ensure easy transportation to anywhere in the world.
Kapoor used for the realization of this work a technique already used in 2011 to build monster Leviathan inflatable bubble exhibited at the Grand Palais in Paris, which had subsequently deflated for a subsequent exposure in Berlin
