The Italian brand Miu Miu has opened a new store designed by the Swiss designers Herzog & de Meuron in the Aoyama district of Tokyo. The key feature of the store is its architecture clean and essential.
The idea is to represent a box placed directly on the street level, with the lid lifted slightly to mark the entry and allow passersby to look inside and only then realize that the building is a shop.
The facade in steel panels, sober, without logo, is a mirror smooth surface, rounded edges and soft of the internal copper surfaces encounter sharp edges on the outside steel canister. The shop on two floors is not limited to present goods on the tables and in the windows, but it is also a spacious and comfortable house, with sofas and armchairs that invite you to rest.
