The work in the above and below images is a realization of the Indian artist Anish Kapoor entitled Dismemberment Site 1 (2009). The work is a structure 75 meters long, in PVC and metal, which fits between the hills of north island of New Zealand, inside the Gibbs Farm.
The Gibbs Farm is an area of about 1000 acres, a breathtaking scenery, that in 1991 the collector Alan Gibbs has his own, to become a park-sculpture. Currently, the park is home to numerous monumental structures specially made by some contemporary artists who are internationally acclaimed. The monumental structures stand in the green fields, giving rise to an incomparable mix of art and nature.
