Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are brothers and designers based in Paris. They have been working together for about fifteen years bonded by diligence and challenged by their distinct personalities. Their work has covered many field ranging from the design of small objects as jewellery to spatial arrangements and architecture, from craftsmanship to industrial scale, from drawings to videos and photography.
In 1997 they are noticed by Giulio Cappellini, who offers them their first industrial design projects. Since then, they have continued to work with brands such as Established & Sons, Vitra, Magis, Alessi, Axor, Kvadrat, Kartell, Ligne Roset, Nani Marquina, Mattiazzi, Mutina and Flos. The French duo recently designed "Cercles", an iPad application that performs demonstrations of formal studies, freehand drawings and sketches in a very intuitive way.
